Both venues are very centrally located near PANEPISTIMIO station (Red Line 2), one stop from SYNTAGMA station where LINE 1 and 3 intersect, (also a walking distance along PANEPISTIMIOU-ELEFTHERIOU VENIZELOU Street), and two stops from the ACROPOLIS METRO STATION (Red Line2).
Take the PANEPISTIMIO/NATIONAL LIBRARY EXIT and you’ll see the Central Building of the University of Athens; the two lecture theatres (AMPHITHEATRE DRAKOPOULOS and AMPHITHEATRE ARGYRIADIS) are on the ground floor on either side as you enter the main entrance and there is a porter to direct you to the theatres.
The ‘Kostis Palamas” Building, where Saturday sessions will be held, is at 48 Akadimias Street, corner with Sina Street. Walk along the pedestrian path on the right-hand of the Main building of the University, as you face the main entrance, and you reach Akadimias Street which runs parallel to Panepistimiou Street, and you’ll see a neoclassical building across the street on your right. The conference room and lunch area are on the first floor, as you enter the building bear right, and take the stairs to the first floor.
